ELING TIDE MILL CAFE

By special arrangement with Eling Tide Mill Experience Manager Alison Foster and with support from the Cafe Manager and other members of the team, Totton Art Society began to exhibit a selection of affordable paintings for sale on the walls of Eling Tide Mill's cafe in May 2024. See posts about Eling at Totton Art Society's Blog.

The exhibition was set up on 30th April by T.A.S. Chairman Sue Canton and Helen Bartlett assisted by other T.A.S. members. The display is frequently refreshed and the cafe is open during the summer months from Wednesdays until Sundays 10.30 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 24 Lexby Road, Totton, Southampton SO40 9HF.

Totton Art Society also held the 2024 summer exhibition and sale of members' work in  Eling Tide Mill Experience Visitors' Centre during August. There are photos on our blog.

The 'Eling Tide Mill Experience' is comprised of the Tide Mill, Visitors' Centre, St. Mary's Church, Eling Creek, Goatee Beach and local walks along the River Blackwater. There is a toll bridge between the tide mill and the car park on Eling Hill. Approaching Eling from Jacob's Gutter Lane would enable visitors to avoid a toll charge when parking.
