JULY EVENING MEETING - AN ANIMAL IN PASTELS WITH TINA HORSEFIELDFollowing last month's demonstration with Sue Kerrigan Harris, try your hand at soft pastels at our evening meeting with Tina. We have materials available for you to use.
You may like to bring a tablecloth, a wet cloth or wet wipe in a bag for your fingers and a tray to keep the pastels together on the table.
Depending on the paper, stiff paintbrushes and putty rubbers can be useful for removing pastel marks.
Paper blending stumps or cotton buds can be useful for blending or pushing the pastel into the painting surface.
A table easel or board for your painting will prevent your hand from smudging the surface.
